Piper Rockelle is a massively popular young social media superstar with more than 25 million followers. She films pranks, challenges, and “crush content” with her friend group, The Squad. For aspiring tween influencers, joining them could unlock hundreds of thousands of followers and big-budget brand deals. But a bombshell lawsuit by former Squad members and their families could be the end of her multimillion-dollar empire.
Through deeply affecting firsthand accounts from the teens and their families, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing details the explosive claims of exploitation and abuse made against Piper’s momager, Tiffany. In the process, the docuseries explores the increasingly blurred line between parent and producer in the digital age and the dangers of the unregulated world of kidfluencing.

This video series is part of an interactive training course for McDonald’s employees becoming Crew Trainers. I worked with interviews from real McDonald’s employees across six languages to craft memorable and unique stories that taught important training principles. Along with a growing archive of interviews, I worked with original footage and added elements like music, animation, voice-over, and sound design to create something colorful, fun and polished.
The final product has been used to train over 2 million people across 43 countries and in over 40 languages.
Feedback on the course has been overwhelmingly positive: with nearly half a million evaluations completed, crew members from all over the world rated the experience as highly effective, with scores averaging around 4.8 out of 5, and 98% saying they gained skills they can actually use on the job.
In short? This is training they believe in, remember, and highly recommend.
